This is my 3rd time calling in Plumbing Solutions (it's August 2026 as I write this) - about 2 years after the last engagement. This time: I was replacing my clothes washer and dryer, and when I took a close look at the hot and cold water valves behind the washer I quickly figured out they needed to be replaced. These were 40 year old screw-down valves and had become severely corroded and gummed up over the years. With new machines coming in I wanted to get new quarter-turn ball valves for the water supply.

In order to replace them, we had to turn off the main valve in the house - and it turned out THAT was also a 40 year old screw down valve in questionable condition. To replace that one with a new quarter turn ball valve, we needed to work with our local water utility to locate the outside supply valve -- and that took another week, a bulldozer and a crew of four. After the utility located and exposed the old street valve, Plumbing Solutions showed up again on just a few hours notice, and tackled the remaining work in stellar fashion. Our plumber, Stanley, was excellent, professional, quick and thorough at all stages with the work.

From phone support for scheduling, through management support and field operations, the experience has consistently been excellent through 3 different events over about 6 years. Highly recommended. I would not hesitate to call them in for anything from small to major jobs.

This is the second time I had Plumbing Solutions solve a problem for us, and like the first time, they hit a home run. The first time, about 2 years ago, I called on a weekend evening as water was coming in through a hole that had opened up in a basement storeroom wall. In real time on that call, they walked me through some quick diagnostics and helped me stabilize the situation for the night - and they were onsite with a crew at 7am the next morning. This turned out to be a complex job involving insurance and a separate construction company, and Plumbing Solutions was there every step of the way, 100% professional about communications, work and excellent completion of the job. That particular issue had to do with the main drain from my house to the outside septic system, with the pipe having failed inside foundation wall due to mild earthquake activity we experienced a few years earlier. The team, led by Sergio in this case, did a remarkable job.

Today I had another issue come up. The 40 year old outdoor hose bib / hydrant was failing. I called at around 10:30am on Monday, found they had an available slot between 11am and 1pm - and they sent another excellent plumber, Eli, to tackle this. He arrived at about 11:20am, and I tagged along as he started examining the indoor view of the plumbing that connects to the outdoor faucet / bib. I had the basement finished many years ago, so we could only see parts of the pipes where opening the dropped ceiling exposed them. What we quickly determined was that the original builders had not made it easy at all to get to the pipes in this area, and in fact it would be necessary to remove a full 4-ft x 8-ft section of sheetrock, and even then accessing the pipe would be difficult.

We discussed this, and Eli suggested an alternative - diverting the water supply to a new pipe to the outside, and installing a new hose bib / hydrant, this time in a way that made access (still hidden in the dropped ceiling) reasonable. Once we agreed to this, he tackled the work quickly and thoroughly. From start to finish, communication was great, creative and thoughtful problem solving were excellent, and execution was perfect. The entire job was done quickly with a great outcome.

From my contact with the firm on the phone, through every instance dealing with management and plumbers, my experience with Plumbing Solutions has been excellent. I'll be using them again in the future, and will happily recommend them without reservation.
